Recently Wide Angle Productions was hired to take product photography of signs for Park Place Sign Systems.  These photos where used in their new catalog.  Swell Media Group has designed a new catalog that highlights all of the ADA Signage and way finding solutions that Park Place offers. There products can be found in healthcare facilities, educational facilities, office buildings and many other buildings across the country.  Click on and check out this online catalog.  This is a great example of how product photography can be used and how Swell Media Group can design an online catalog to promote a companies products.

Resin Reclaim Process

Scott Murray, the AVantage Technical Services Representative for Anderson & Vreeland reviews the steps and processes showing us how to reclaim liquid photopolymer resin after use in making a liquid photopolymer plate.

This past week Wide Angle Productions had a chance to shoot a few motion time-lapses.  We used a Canon 5D for the camera and Dynamic Perception’s Stage Zero Motion Dolly.

We shot mostly in Los Angeles area with one shot from Joshua Tree National Park.  It’s always great when the shot requires you to camp out for the night.  We will post more motion time-lapses soon.  Check out our web site for more videos.

Recently Wide Angle Productions, working with Swell Media Group, was hired to photograph some products for web and print marketing.  In this case the products where very small plastic rings that act as a type of washer for small screws and bolts.  These plastic rings are called Nyltilte.  They help make the screw/bolt and the surface rattle free and watertight.  This was tricky to photograph because of how small the pieces where.  It was a fun project and we hope to do more product placement photography at Wide Angle Productions.  Visit the rest of our site to see more projects we’ve done.

This year I was lucky enough to be working as Camera Operator on television shows that traveled me to amazing places such as South Africa and Alaska. The night skies were amazing.   In Nome, Alaska I concentrated on the Aurora Borealis, when possible, and in South Africa concentrating on the stars.  I used my Canon 5D MarkII camera and it worked perfectly through lots of weather and hours.  This was the first time I’ve seen the Auroras and I must say they made the most amazing night sky I’ve ever seen.  Please watch, enjoy and feel free to contact me anytime. Recently Wide Angle Productions has shot and edited this corporate video which shows the process of making a new photopolymer liquid plate for Anderson & Vreeland, Inc.
The link below is a perfect example of how a how-to type of corporate video can be send out and marketed. Once the video was completed Anderson & Vreeland, Inc had their marketing company, Swell Media Group create an E-Blast that featured the video and sent it out to all their mailing lists via email. This helps create an immediate buzz for their new product, AVantage Liquid Polymer.
