Jeffrey Santos, founder of Wide Angle Productions, works regularly around the world as a Director of Photography and Camera Operator. Growing up in New Jersey , it was a short hop to Manhattan to train at New York City’s School of Visual Arts. SVA is where Jeffrey began shooting 16mm film and editing with the flat bed Steenbeck machines. Jeffrey finished his degree at Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts.
Wanting to pursue his passion for cinematography and the visual image, Jeffrey moved to Los Angeles, California where he continued his education by working at a video equipment rental house. Quickly moving into the field, he worked as a grip, electrician, gaffer and camera assistant on several projects.
With his can-do attitude, team spirit, and love of learning, Jeffrey has become awell-rounded Director of Photography who understands the importance of collaboration and its positive effects on any production.

FSU FILM SCHOOL THESIS
This video is Jeffrey Santos’ thesis film while attending Florida State University’s School of Motion Picture, Television, and Recording Arts. This short film was shot on 16mm negative film and an Arriflex SR3 camera was used. Jeff wrote and directed this short story.
